At last!

This week my crafting mojo was taking a holiday. I have not made a card in over a week and have not really felt like it. However today, at last, I saw a few challenges that inspired me to sit down at my crafting desk and create. And I am pleased because the finished result I do really like.

First my card and then the inspiration behind it:

I was inspired by the fabulous photo at Festive Friday. The soft pinks and silver gave me the idea for the colours, silver embossing and the vellum. I used the sketch at Fusion. flipping it-I added the extra sheer ribbon but I when I had completed the card using the sketch, I felt my card needed something to ground my dove and sentiment and add more interest to the left hand side.

At Uniko Studios Bev and her DT are re-visiting the 'Peace on Earth' stamp set I have used here and this gave me plenty of ideas.

I hope Mrs mojo is back to stay!

I will also link this up to Marina's Festive 48-week 35 Any Xmas card goes.
Enjoy your day xx

  1. Brilliant card, welcome back mojo!!! I sympathise with you, it is so frustrating when your mojo decides to take a holiday but now it's returned I hope it stays.

  5. Good to know your mojo is back, I was feeling the same nowadays, I don't make any card for 2-3days, and then I sit down to make a couple.
I am in love with the dove stamp, you have used it in a very nice way, the whole card has a softness to it.

  6. Oh...don't you love it when your mojo returns? I find when I am tired it is very hard to craft. I love the gorgeous silver embossing. So beautiful against the pink. So happy that you were inspired by both Fusion and Festive Friday. xoxo
